Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Zagora Desert

Begin your journey from Marrakech in the morning, winding through the dramatic High Atlas Mountains and ascending the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest pass in North Africa. Stop at the remarkable kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its ancient mud-brick architecture and cinematic history. After exploring the village, continue to Ouarzazate for a brief break and lunch. Travel through the fertile Draa Valley, dotted with palm groves and traditional kasbahs, before reaching Zagora. Upon arrival, embark on a camel trek into the desert to watch a mesmerizing sunset over the dunes. End the day with a traditional Moroccan meal and a night in a desert camp under the stars.

Day 2: Zagora Desert – Marrakech

Wake early to admire the spectacular sunrise over the desert sands. After breakfast, ride camels back to your starting point in Zagora, where your vehicle awaits. Begin the return journey to Marrakech, retracing your path through the scenic Draa Valley and the High Atlas Mountains.
