Enjoy free time to soak in the atmosphere of this uniquely charming city.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, depart Chefchaouen and travel toward the ancient Roman site of Volubilis. Explore its remarkably preserved ruins, including mosaics, arches, and columns that reflect Morocco’s Roman past.

Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Visit monumental gates, historic granaries, royal stables, and the mausoleum of a former sultan. After exploring the city, continue onward to Fes, where you will spend the night.

Day 3: Fes – Middle Atlas – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

Leaving Fes, the journey heads south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture and cool climate, before continuing to the cedar forests where Barbary macaques live freely among ancient trees.

After lunch in a mountain town, cross scenic passes and descend into the Ziz Valley, a stunning landscape filled with thousands of palm trees and desert villages.
